My Life Was Changed By A Train

My brother’s birthday was yesterday. Happy Birthday, A! I tell you what. I hate the fact that a horrible national tragedy happened on my brother’s birthday. Of course, I hate that it happened at all, but I especially hate that a day that has been special to our family my whole life is now frowned upon by most of America. And don’t say it isn’t. You’d be surprised how many people have said to me (and him), “You should just pick a new birthday and not celebrate on that day.” Not only is that insensitive to someone, but talk about letting the terrorists win! To me, of course it will always be a day I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing, but it will always be a very special day because its my big brother’s birthday and I love him. I’ll celebrate the day he came into the world forever.
